Annual Funky Chili Cook-Off

Each February, the Funk School Community Center turns up the heat with its annual Funky Chili Cook-Off—a fun, flavorful tradition that brings friends and neighbors together for a little friendly competition and a lot of great food. Anyone is welcome to enter their favorite chili recipe, and no pre-registration is required. Participants can even get creative by decorating their tables to show off their personal style or chili theme!

Attendees are invited to sample the entries for a freewill donation, with proceeds supporting the Funk School Community Center’s maintenance and special projects throughout the year. Trophies are awarded to the top chili makers, but everyone leaves feeling like a winner after a day filled with laughter, local pride, and the irresistible aroma of homemade chili.
